TwitPic was a pioneering, now-defunct, third-party service that allowed users to easily upload and share photos on Twitter before Twitter had its own native image-hosting. The logo was a simple, playful wordmark, "TwitPic," in a custom, rounded, sans-serif font. Its most distinctive feature was a stylized, cartoon 'dinosaur' or 'bird' mascot, which became a familiar symbol of early, media-rich "tweeting".
